7th Floor Studios is the private art studio of artist emrie ann, and is located in the old John Deer factory building in Portland, Oregon. emrie uses this space to create art as well as to foster artistic expression and community building by hosting workshops, classes, and community events. emrie was formerly a teacher and continues to love helping both kids and adults learn how to express their ideas and play with art. emrie believes that it a is human super power to take an idea - something intangible, metaphysical even - and turn it into something real that can be experienced and shared with the world - that's making art! emrie's studio currently features mainly oil paintings, but emrie loves working a variety of mediums, including watercolor painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, mural painting, mixed media, fiber arts, furniture, and more. emrie is open to commissions!
